Dubai city centre and the international airport is approximately a 40 minute drive. The Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa comprises of two distinctly different properties, the Jebel Ali Hotel and the Palm Tree Court & Spa. The Palm Tree Court & Spa is a member of 'The Leading Hotels of the World'.

There are 132 deluxe sea facing & seafront suites situated in six low-rise beachfront courts, all rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with everything the modern traveller needs. A bottle of sparkling wine with strawberries, chocolates and a bouquet of flowers will be waiting for you in your room upon arrival. Honeymooners staying in the Palm Tree Court Suite will also receive a complimentary framed photograph. During 2008, guests will receive a complimentary 60 minute traditional Hammam treatment for two people at The Spa.


Ramadan

Please remember The holy month of Ramadan for 2008 is expected to commence from 01 September until 01 October. Throughout the day the serving of alcohol will be restricted and bars will only be open from dusk. There will be no live entertainment. Please remember to respect local customs: do not eat, drink or smoke in public places during the daylight hours and dress sensibly.


Building Work

All over Dubai there are development projects taking place particularly behind and around the Beach hotels in Jumeira and Jebel Ali. Please note that all the construction sites are working 24hrs a day. Profiling work has begun on the Dubai Waterfront development to the south west of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa. Approximately one kilometre away the development causes no visual concern, although on occasions audio disturbance is vaguely apparent on the western most border of the resorts 130 acres. Please note that The Jebel Ali Palm is currently being built offshore from the resort. Noise disturbance is minimal though construction can be seen from the resort. Palm Tree Court and Spa will enhance the hotel with a luxury extension and development of 76 new units. The new project will be located on the sand stretch on the western border of the resort. Hoarding will be placed to screen off the area which will be affected. Once physical construction of the new wing commences in the next few weeks, all access to the site will be from a separate entrance outside the resort and work will take place during daylight hours only from 10am-5:30pm.
